1. SERVICE WARRANTY
WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Colin Flashman Motorcycles is a small family-run motorcycle shop established in 1975. Our business is built on word of mouth and satisfied customers, and we do our very best to keep you happy.
Standard Warranty
Our standard warranty for all motorcycles sold is a 3-month warranty*. This covers all aspects of the motorcycle apart from wear and tear items. In the unlikely event that you find a problem with your motorcycle within the first 3 months, simply give us a call and bring the bike back for us to inspect.
Discounted Purchase Warranty
If as a buyer you negotiate a significant discount on the purchase price, we will still offer a 2-month / 750-mile limited warrantywhich covers mechanical faults but not electrical faults. For obvious reasons, we are unable to offer a full warranty when selling at a discounted price. All bikes are sold fully safety checked.
Items Not Covered

Accidental damage of any kind.

Damage caused by racing, wheelies, burnouts, or similar misuse.

Damage caused by failing to follow the terms of this warranty.

Misuse of any vehicle including off-road riding (unless sold as an off-road motorcycle).

Vehicles older than 7 years — electrical faults caused by age or water damage.

Auxiliary aftermarket-fitted parts (e.g. spotlights, additional lights, heated grips when not standard fitment, phone chargers, etc.).

Any form of water damage or ingress.
Returns
In the event of a returned vehicle, a restocking fee of up to 10% of the purchase price will apply. It is at the customer’s expense to return the vehicle. The amount deducted will be based on mileage, wear and tear, and administration fees.
Warranty Inspections
If a vehicle is returned for warranty investigation and subsequently no fault is found, the customer agrees that a charge will be applied for workshop labour at our standard rate.
Important Notes
*All warranties are subject to a 1-month or 500-mile (whichever comes first) FREE inspection. This can be arranged at time of sale for a date that is convenient. 1,500 miles is the maximum mileage covered under our warranty package.
**The buyer is responsible for returning the motorcycle to Colin Flashman Motorcycles for any warranty repair work. Colin Flashman Motorcycles will not be liable for recovery of the vehicle. However, in most cases, if local to our workshop, we will collect the bike at a reduced rate to help the buyer.
